Please help

This is very personal for me to write about but I really need advice.

9 years ago, when I was 6, my mum's boyfriend used to be very mean to me (locking me in a suitcase and other incidents) and I've always kept quiet about it, assuming my mum knew.

However, now he's virtually fine with me and I live with my grandparents. He and my mum now have two children.

Lately I've been finding it difficult to cope because I know he would never put his own children through that fear and I'm happy about that but also angry that he put me through that.

About an hour ago, I got sick of his parents going on about how great and spectacular he is and blurted out the things he'd done.

This came as a shock to them and now they're telling me that he was young back then and it wasn't his fault. They're also suggesting I see a psychologist but I am absolutely fine mentally!

I'm so scared they're going to bring it up again and ruin everything. I wish I hadn't said anything.

Please, please can I have some advice? I'm really upset and scared and clueless on what to do.

If he would do it to his wife's child there is no reason to think he wouldn't torture his own children. He should not be living under the same roof as children. For their safety it is your responsibility to start talking to anyone who'll listen.
