Exactly.

When it comes to random forum posts/bulletins/chain-letters... (it may sound insensitive) ...look the other way. You can't be sure what is real and what is not and there is nothing you guys are going to do in the long run to make a difference for that one instance or situation.

If your so concerned, concentrate on yourself and your area. There is no easy solution to (and I put heavy, HEAVY quotes on the term) "Animal Cruelty"

u know stoic arrogance is much worse..........

even i didn't believe this until i saw the scene.....my frinds almost puked in inhumaness's digust whe nn they reported the case to me.

This may be totally irrelevant but you're from India? People there are living in squalor and dying everyday in disgusting conditions. Kids are throwing their lives away for absolute crap.
Sure people being cruel to animals is unacceptable but there are so many other problems in India that its hard to imagine that any of those will even be tackled before the human condition there gets any better.

in India the conditions are worse because the ppl are losing respect for nature
if u don't respect ur creator u never progresses

i accept that in india the living human conditions are much worse but here im pleadind for animal welfare

n as per me humans are not animals

they got the neccessary brains to look out for them selves

also as for the children here

u wouldn't hae seen more brains in any other asian country only those who respect no self they end up spoiling their lives

people are realizing the importance of nature

it is our duty to protect nature

You're right in most cases but maybe you misunderstand what i'm saying.
Respect for something else can only come when one respects themselves.
Right now there is little respect for human life in India so it is unrealistic to assume that nature will be shown any respect at all. This will be more realistic once those people start respecting each other.
In fact, respect for nature will come naturally once that happens.

I think if anyone were to help Indias animals, it would be someone who was not Indian or at least someone who can afford to care for something else other than his immediate family and personal welfare.

If he doesn't want to help humans he doesn't have to.
At least he's helping in the first place.

Says who that "he doesn't have to". You?

With so many human lives in the world in turmoil, people want to go and help animals. Which is fine.. but get your priorities straight.

I don't understand what point you're trying to get across here.
Some people value animal life like human life.
Right or wrong, at least it's valuing something.

No, he doesn't have to value shit if he doesn't want to.
Doesn't matter if that's right or wrong either.
It's his life, not your morals.

If its his life, why are you giving him your morals? Whether they are different to mine or not, they are still your morals that you are evaluating me against, not his.
Whether someone values one type of life above another is irrelevant to me. If they are stupid enough to do that, I will let them know. I do not live by the same "live and let someone eat shit if they want to" rules as you do.
Someone who preaches about respecting nature must respect nature in all forms.
If you don't understand that point, what exactly is it you are arguing against?
