um...ok...i think i figured it out
maybe i hav a problem with taking action
when it is needed....?

one time i was exploring my brothers high school
on a saturday. while, my brother was out practicing with his football team,
i was in the school...just walking...when i saw a group of guys
walking in my direction.
they seemed confused about which classthey needed to go
to.
so i just kept walking..with my head down...
and as soon as i looked up...i found that i was cot in the
middle of their lil group.
we all froze..and stood silent

i only looked at one of the guys face and quikly walked away..
but it took me a while to do this....
maybe i get so shocked that my brain functions slowly. and then
it takes me longer to no wut i shud do when im cot in a situation
like that...?

Hmmm... Well, I'm practically the least shy person on this planet, except for when it comes to asking guys out.

There are few things you can do to try and lose your shyness...
- Join a drama club.
- Join a speech team.
- Try to keep a positive attitude when talking to others. They won't eat you. Try to talk to everybody!

If you try any of these options, you'll become more charismatic and it'll be easier to talk to anybody.

Oh yeah, if you have trouble with speeches... I usually think of the person presenting not knowing their material. Be confident on what you're presenting and know every little thing about it. That's how I got 100% A+'s on all of my speeches.

Being shy is not a problem, it'll go away at some point, I'm a shy person my self, especially when walking by other people, but I just concentrate on something else and when it helps a lot, as for the buying stuff, getting up to the cashier and just pay, say thanks and live it's not a big problem, but asking someone for help the situation gets ugly, and this appliest to go talking to people I just met, but it's just a normal thing, it's not a big problem.

I had a lot of problems in the past about how people would always stare at me, which made me think I was some sort of alien fresh off the UFO. Really started impacting how I behaved in public until I came to these conclusions:

If people stare, stare right back at them. More often that not, they will look away first.
If a person has a problem with you and you haven't done anything, that's *their* problem, not yours.
Consciously decide that nobody can make you feel bad just for being you. Again, them having that problem is all on them, not you.

Hope my words are of some use.

P.S. As no one else has pointed out as of yet, posting about your problems on an internationally seen Internet forum could very well be seen as a very brave act, itself evidence of your ability to overcome your anxiety.

Fortunately, there is one woman in this world who can control me.

Unfortunately for you, she is not here.
