Help!! :[

hey guys, i don't know if this is the appropriate place to post this thread but i couldn't really think of another topic which this would fall under ..

basically, i just ordered a bunch of clothes from cdjapan right?

but now i'm having a lot of trouble with the whole payment process.

i'm a minor so i don't have a credit card or paypal to pay them. so my only options are international postal money order [IPMO] and cash. now obviously cash would be my last resort cause that's kind of scary, especially since i'd be sending about $200. but i was just looking up IPMOs and according to USPS they're only $3.85 .. that's fine. but when i looked at how much it's supposed to cost to send the money order i almost fell off my chair. the USPS site says that i would need to send the IPMO through priority mail international or express mail international .. except that costs around $25! is that supposed to be right? because that's seriously way over the top.

please give me advice. =( & don't say "just ask your parents to pay for it" because my parents would flip out if they found out i was buying such expensive clothes.

should i go through with the IPMO or resort to cash? i'm going to the UPS store tomorrow to ask about this but i need other feedback ..

IPMO are great for sending large amounts of cash and really suck when you are sending anything under $1000.00

I'm sorry...you are a minor that can't get proper credit or a Paypal account and can't talk to the parents. There is a reason why they confirm these sorts of things...I wish I could help you more...

I know this isn't right of me to say, but do you know anyone older who has an account with cdjapan that you could give the money to, and just let that person pay for it? Seems it'd be easier that way.

i was thinking of asking one of my friends who might have a credit card, actually .. but i don't think they'd agree b/c their parents might see their bill and be like wtf?! and it'd seem like i'm using them. as for the cdjapan thing, i don't know anyone who has an account. :[ thanks for the suggestion though

You can send it by international first class mail. Should not cost more than a few dollars. You'll may have to actually have to go to post office to get the correct postage and rates.

wow thanks odin! i called the post office and it turns out you were right! it costs about $0.94. too bad registering it costs about $10 though. >< plus $3.85 for the IPMO. sigh i wish i was 18 T__T
