Well the word "phile" is Greek for "love" or "adore". It can be used with any word but it just happens that the word 'pedophile' is the most common these days.

Yes it comes from the Greek Philios.

I am sorry if I offended you ChibiShojoJournie! But really I did not mean it like in a negative way. I even said we are all Japanophiles or we would not be on this very forum
