in my opinion i think its more like south korea or japan because i just dont like the chinese, once again in my opinion not to be a perv but they just arent hot like the japaneese and ive just got bad impresions on china, especialy with the communist government, such as every one getting paid the same amount of money. Not sure if thats the case but in the u.s. thats what they taught us on it. Korea i hear its much easyer to find a job and theres alot more fun there with night clubs and parties than japan but i also hear that there is alot more racisim against westerners. Japan on the other hand has manga and anime if your in to that and once again in my opinion the hotter chicks, but they are so polite that they often wont speak there mind because they dont want to be rude or mean which can be a slight annoyance i guess.
Im 14(15 in less than a month) and ive never been to china japan or korea but this is my opinion from what ive picked up off the internet which may or may not be true so like just do the research i find that its the best way to make a choice like this. |

Most Japanese anime are made in China. I mean the graft of the fill frames. Most key frames are still made in Japan. |

I'd rather go to China, as I've already lived in Japan for some time. China has a culture that spans several thousands of years, and there is still a lot of untouched beauty to be found in the country despite the rapid industrialization and pollution issues.
By the way, China is hardly communist anymore, and it's rather ignorant to judge the entire Chinese people on the actions of their not-so-kind government. |

I've been to both Japan and China, though I admit China was only for 3 weeks and Japan was for 3 months. I also didn't know Chinese, but I know a bunch of Japanese. Anyway, my opinion is that China is much more underdeveloped, so you won't have usual comforts if you live in a place like America, and people will come at you from left and right trying to sell you things. The *good* thing about China is that everything is *dirt cheap* and you can hassle for prices too. Of course you'll probably be getting fake jade, silk, etc. even when the products are labeled as 100% pure silk or whatever. Shanghai is a really pretty place as well. You also won't find much anime stuff in China, or at least I didn't 2 years ago.
I *am*, however, biased toward Japan and Tokyo, partly because I know the language, partly because everyone's very helpful and friendly, and partly because the technology is awesome! Japan *is* much more expensive though. Almost everything in Japan is more expensive even than in the states. You do, of course, have most of your usual comforts and there is a large number of people who can speak English well enough to help you if you're lost. Oh, also public transportation is *really easy* in Japan. So if it were me, I'd choose Japan, but I tried to give you some advice for you to make your own choice. |
