well i lived in america for like 6 years and i always heard expressions like "look at all that lettuce" or like "im swimming in green" or anything to do with green stuff but now that its turning red [the 10 dollar bill] blue and some other colors what thay going to say look this is the new dolar bills

i like the back of it its the most creative one in the usa also ther is the 1 dollar coin i have 2 of them i got one mistaken for 50 cents at an ice cream shop and the other one i got as change in a stamp machine.

I was saying that Aussie money was similar, mainly in the sense that it was colored.
Money here is generally monochromatic, so, as a person living in America, I put an emphasis on that fact.

This is like saying "I speak the Human language". There isn't one single language humans speak, just like there isn't one single currency used in Europe

Besides, Canadian bills are colored too:



So,

1) The term 'American money' doesn't exist.

2) If it did, Canadian money would be included in 'American money'.

3) If Canadian money was 'American money', it would be wrong to say American money is monochromatic.
