I speak Cantonese at home, but it probably has a strong Aussie accent!
English is probably what I'm most fluent at, and it doesn't really sound like Steve Irwin, if you were wondering! :P

I'm a native English speaker

but I've learned French for about 5/6 years (up to GCSE and now I'm doing A level) , German for about 5 years, Japanese for about 7 or 8 months, Spanish for about 4 weeks :P and some Mandarin and Italian.

Thats awesome! It's incredible how massive the human brain's capacity is for learning new languages.

I feel fortunate to be a native English speaker as I've heard it's pretty hard to learn. I have the utmost respect for those who undertake mastering it.

I'm a spanish native speaker. Pretty good at english, can speak some german and obviously the occasional japanese word I learn from watching anime


I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes

I speak English and Hindi Fluently, can string a few sentences together and make basic converstaion in Spanish French and Arabic(north African dialect), the french I learnt in school, the Spanish on regular holidays in Spain and the Arabic from a neighbour, other than that just the odd word and sentence in Portugese Hebrew and Dutch.
Unfortunately not a word in Japanese ...gonna hav to look in the Language section here!

I speak fluent English and Spanish.
And currently learning to speak Japanese.
I find that knowing Spanish helps me pronounce Japanese a little better.
