Jacob`s Ladder is really weird and creepy. It`s about a guy (Jacob) who is having hallucinations about Vietnam, his ex-wife, his dead son and his gf. He is seeing demons and guys that don`t really exist, and some creepy guys are trying to kill him. And actually, he is dead but doesn`t know it. And all of this is happening because he doesn`t want to let go so the demons inside him are tormenting him. (spoiler)
Kind of reminds me of something.

This would be the first time in nearly 2 years that that's happened to me from bass playing, and I've played for a lot longer than 2 hours straight before.

Nope, it stopped snowing this afternoon.
A blizzard is a bit extreme, the snow wasn't even that heavy, nor was it that deep.
