I'm working, then avoiding the mass of Chavs that I live near. After that probably just play a few games online and not do much else.
I think we had the fireworks displays last weekend for this. That or its this weekend. Wouldn't be surprisde if the local council was doign something down the beach tonight though.

then after the fire works....its off to a "naughty but nice" house party!

I'm not doing anything really, apart from going to my Japanese class.

Well, I might go watch some of the fireworks and stuff.... but I dunno.

Probably nothing...I'll just stay in my house, keeping an eye on my cat and making sure it stays inside. lol

I haven't heard ANY fireworks around my area though. :/ I heard lots of them at New Year but none so far tonight..

I have a Salsa convention starting, so I will be dancing.

But I really wish I were in Huntingdon-St. Ives with a raging bonfire going.

Guy Fawkes is really my favorite holiday.

The last time I could really celebrate it right was 1999 on the banks of the Thames just upstream from the Tower with Laird Blair. <sigh> No bonfires, but plenty of fireworks.

That's interesting, I believe London is a great place to be. Do you visit often? I originate from the West Country, where they sometimes celebrate with burning barrels of tar as a kind of warning for evil spirits (I think in the village of Ottery St. Mary).

Is it rare to celebrate it in the USA?

Seeing it's an English thing, I'd believe it so. Seeing as we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK.
