He was certainly an iconic genius in his field. Spawned so many great guitarists too. (I personally love David Gilmour.)

Shame he had to go the cliched drug route. -_-

Alright, so I have a question for all the Hendrix fans here....obviously he plays left-handed, and on a right-handed model....so I have two questions
1, did he play upside down? Or did he switch the strings?
2, If he switched the strings, is that all he did to modify the guitar, or did he change the saddle and nut....or is it even possible to do that without changing the saddle and nut?

He played left-handed and switched the strings. Done correctly it would mean the saddle and nut would have to be changed too.
