Jimmy is the man, he makes it look so easy, but it's fucking complicated to do what he does...

If you don't understand the symbolism in this images, please go screw yourself...
My favorite Jimmy song is : "Hey Joe"

In my frustration with the love of bad music around here, I made this kind of as a parody to those threads.

But seriously, Jimi was an amazing musician and was taken from us too soon. Like you said his music is incredibly complicated but he can look half a sleep while he does it

He was so good he could actually play with his teeth. Thats just absurd.

Yah, 8 years was not enough, but it was a good "experience"...

The first Jimi song I remember hearing on the radio when I was around 10 or 12 was "Hey Joe." I remember thinking it was the greatest thing in the world. Later that night I was looking through my Dad's old Vinyl and he had "Are you Experienced." I must have listened to that album non-stop for six months. It is still one of my top 5 desert island records.

Samurai they smile never
Serious--pretty swords--very clever

Heheh, experience...

The thing was, he wasn't gimmicky in any way. He was just so good that playing with his hands just felt boring. Let's see Miyavi do that xD

Hey Joe, what a great song.. I can't say there's a best album, but Bold as Love has to be my favorite. I see Are you Experienced as rock, Bold as Love as soulful and psychadelic, and Electric Ladyland as the album when he showed he's a true blues man at heart

His drummer just died while on a speaking tour, I think. It was at a hotel here in Portland. He was quite a drummer.

Its sad to see Mitch go, he was the last remaining "Experience" member and one hell of a drum player, but he died a happy men.

That was a real shame. Everyone I like is dying within my lifetime, haha...
