I love Tim Burton's movies.
And Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass
were amazing books to read. (I have Lewis Caroll's complete works)

I'd definitely see this, I can imagine it'd be interesting and colorful.

Oh yeah when is Manson coming out with his wasn't it supposed to be this year? Two Alice in Wonderlands so close together....interesting. well i'm stoked
Disney's fairy tales arent really bad, I mean, so what if they cut out many details? I wouldnt watch it if it's exactly like the book because that just doesnt make sense.

Manson's will be Phantasmagoria right? It's really interesting, it wouldnt be exactly Alice and Wonderland though. It will focus on Lewis Caroll. I think it would be more of a pyschological horror film about how Alic haunted him.

Victorian England.

Well, I'll watch it. I don't mind adaptations on classics, as long as it's done well I'll give it a try.

Through hell or high water I'm going to see this movie, I'm already really excited and it won't be out for more than a year. Basically, any Tim Burton/Johnny Depp movie is mandatory viewing for me.

I happened to like Sweeney Todd extremely.
I just have a dark humor I guess >=]

Anyway, after reading Alice in Wonderland and
Through The Looking Glass, the movie didn't
seem all that great in comparison. To have an
honest opinion of a movie (a remake or made
from a book) you have to act as if you never
saw the original or read the book and view it
as if you had never seen or heard anything
like it before.

Disney can be a little creepy.
Pinocchio has scarred every child.

I am unbelievably excited about this movie. I heard whispers of it back in mid-2007, and have been nearly peeing my pants since then!

I've only heard of the drug references, never any sexual ones.

Yep, I knew about that.

Disney "sweetens" things too much, imo. But for kids they have to.

Can't wait for Marilyn Manson's take on it either. :'D Phantasmagoria, ya'll.
Yep, not original at all, but it was still an enjoyable film. I believe that Tim Burton's film will make the 18th film based on the two books. The first one was made in 1903.

Hope it won't upset you too much, but this too is a combined story. The Red and White queens, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, The Caterpillar, The Knave of Hearts, and The Cheshire Cat, are all characters in this adaptation.

Just a FYI for those who have never actually read the original novels:

Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There (1871)
Alice · The Red Queen · The White Queen · The Red King · The White King · The White Knight · Tweedledum and Tweedledee · · Humpty Dumpty · Hatta · Haigha · The Lion and the Unicorn
