Forum Cleanup/Thread removal

You've probably noticed a lot of threads that don't relate to Japan or Asia taking up lotso f room in the forum. On top of that, jus randomly pointless threads have popped up. This, along with other reasons, has caused some members to leave JF. I haven't been around that much lately due to real life, but its getting pretty bad in here as it seems everyone sbeen busy with other things.

I'm going to be deleting threads/posts from the forum on a mass scale.
Not everything, only things made to boost post counts, threads with ~90%+ posts that deviate form topic, etc...

This is your chance to say what threads you want to keep. The off-topic threads (ones that were labeled as such) will be kept no worries. Any other threads you want? I'll leave this up for a few days. After that, I'll remove threads that I think look like time wasters/spam/ads/etc....

Remember, I'm not deleting EVERYTHING. Only the one that are pointless and ramble on. The reason I'm giving you the chance to speak, is so that when I delete a thread, I won't have a million complaints about it.

I suggested to the head Admin, Eki, awhile ago that maybe there should be a spam forum on here, so general discussion can be for newbies that need help and guidance.

I also suggested that maybe in this spam forum post count doesn't increase and all spam type threads be put there and anyone's posts spamming others threads will be deleted.

People love to post extremely random posts, it is ticking everyone off and doesn't seem to be controlled even after all of Kudo's requests and suggestions. I had PMed Eki directly, but I never received a reply, he/she must be too busy.



(But of course I am just a normal user and all the decisions for forums will be made by Kudo and Gwen, so be nice and don't flame them if they remove your thread... )

The word game threads should be put in the game forum. All the others can get romoved I guess. No one has made a stink. I am very surprised.....

leave it up - this can be a place for people to request a thread to be moved or closes - a lil like the spam thread; but for just moderation, not removal (if a thread's that bad; please report it in the spam thread)
