Question I'm having problems with a shirt.. - 04-25-2009, 04:05 PM

I recently purchased my local Hot Topic's LAST Dir En Grey shirt...the problem is...it's a large and I need it to shrink a bit. I got it alittle smaller by washing it in warm water and then putting it in the dryer.
But is there something else that I can do to bring it down to size?

That would be the sensible thing to do, but not if that type isn't available in the wanted size. The OP hasn't said anything about that, so I really have no idea.

Lay in a bath of hot water would shrink it.

or just cut it and re-sew it.
but whatever you do, dont cut it whilst you are wearing it, been there, bad times.. Measure yourself and half it, and draw and cut it out, and sew it up.. tadaaa.

I'm actually having a similiar problem with a jacket I just bought at Hot Topic.....I would go the "exchange it for a smaller size" route if Hot Topic wasn't a three hour drive from here...

Good luck shrinking your shirt! I hope it all works out for ya in the end

That's kinda mean don't you think?
This was the LAST Dir en Grey shirt. Meaning I can't take it back.
I might have my mom cut it and sew it...
