I don't see S. Korea or the US flexing their muscles to N. Korea in a dramatic way. However N. Korea seems to be flexing its muscles rather dramatically.

But several weeks ago, North Korea criticized South Korea and America for doing a massive joint military exercise.

And that's the problem dealing with the North Korean issue: because solely blaming at North Korea will cause more problem towards South Korea and America eventually.

This issue is bitter because it arrived into a point where there isn't any reasonable solution for advancing peace. Well, we know this now few years ago.

Even the series of Six-Party Talk has failed completely and there is no sign of bringing the Talk back.

N. Korea is making threats against S. Korea. I am not saying we should solely blame N.Korea, but what is the right approach? Combating the proliferation of nuclear missile technology feels like a "personal attack". What do you suggest?

The war isn't over yet. Threats from both sides still exists. The only difference is that South Korea's threat to North Korea is not insulting and direct.

Right approach? We need to look at North Korea carefully.

The world must wholeheartly accept North Korea even though North Korea is socialist/fascist and isolationist. This will decrease the military tension domestically and outwardly for North Korea. It will be easier for North Korea to treat their own citizens better at the end.

And South Korea should ditch the Reunification policy to a different one. In this situation there is no way the reunification being possible in the next 30-40 years.

I don't like the North Korean government but this is the only viable solution.

Many people will disagree with me... but what can I say?

If we where to do what you say, they have accomplished there goal and with full bull effect try even more to persuade the word to there bidding. What is the effect of doing such an thing guaranteed when N. Korea has an history of taking stuff then dashing the treaty to the rock? I also see no reason for the government to treat there citizens better when the world says "we accept you for who you are". It has no bearing on an population that is already under such brainwashing measurements. I vastly disagree on it being the only solution.

1 Corinthians 10: 31-33
31 Whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give none offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God. 33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

Here is the problem, we cannot possibly accept the North Korean government the way they are. The crimes the N. Korean government has committed on its people are atrocious. And it still commits them today. To accept N. Korea as is into the world community is impossible.

Since the only "real country" that North Korea is confronting is USA.

Because the rest of the world don't want to admit that North Korea has an isolationist domestic policy. And they have too much hope that North Korea will be democratic and such.

At the end, they just look North Korea too differently from the political reality.

The Western World has accepted China after Mao and steadily improving their citizens' living condition. And this brought China execute its own power to reform some aspects of politics.

Average North Koreans are brainwashed beyond the capacity of deprogamming its cult-like beliefs because most of the North Korean population is already been indoctrinated for more than one generation.

Since the other solution is more unrealistic and unproductive.

But it's way better than having a confronting attitude towards North Korea. The North Korean government has taken the route that it will never apologize to its own atrocity and bad deeds. What can the world do about this? It's a sad reality. The die is already cast anyways.

It's a pesky issue overall.
