Mixi? - 04-18-2009, 12:40 AM

Okay...it's been too long. I can't remember if I posted this, or someone else may have in the past...(And I wouldn't be surprised if MMM facepalmed at my horrid memory.)

But out of curiousity, how many of you heard of it? Or even have one? >_>

Mixi is the most popular online community in Japan. It's just as popular as Myspace is to America.

This site is mainly for blogging.

Recently, they've updated Mixi; Now you need a Japanese cell phone number in order to create a Mixi account.

That's not too recent, I thought..
Or am I thinking of the docomo rule?
I have one, but I wondered if many here knew about it...>_>

It was sometime last year when this went into place. All the current users didn't need to provide one, but everyone who wants to make a new account needs a Japanese cell phone number.

Of course, I've heard of it. It's very popular. I've tried to make an account, but I have no Japanese cell number.

So sad
