Well the term fangirl is commonly used to describe someone like me. I have an extreme love for J-Rock and anime. As well as Yaoi. ^.^
The term is actually universal, like you could also use it to describe my mom, who LOVES Grey's Anatomy. O.o

Yeahhh I got ya now, I just never heard the term fangirl before, we always refered to them as groupies (for fangirls of bands and stuff) and after that I guess we never had a term for it.
