I guess because alot of people see it as a woman's profession. Kinda like how alot of people see being a doctor as a man's profession.

Ever heard that joke? well not really a joke...

A man and his son get into a car accident and the father dies instantly in the crash. The son gets rushed to the hospital and the doctor looks at the kid and says
"I cant operate on this child, It's my son!" Who is the doctor?

The first time i heard that I thought forever on who it could be. Someone else had to tell me it was the mother. How stupid of me right?

Because some people are clearly idiots. Anyone should be entitled to any profession, providing they have the same skillset and ability, without ridicule.
