Pics Your Life 3.0

This is the new and improved Pics Your Life thread.
This thread is for posting a pictures of your life - think photos of your neighborhood, your vacation, your room. Pics of your life that do not necessarily include YOU.
If it is a picture of you, or a picture of your new outfit, etc, please post in the appropriate thread. (Facer 3.0 or Show Us Your Style 2.0)

We have changed the system a bit, so please be aware of the rules before you post.

The thread will be cleared of comments (non-photo posts) once a week or whenever the mods feel it is necessary. The thread will be wiped of ALL posts when it reaches around 500 posts. Comments on photos are welcome, but any chatting should be taken to the Chat Thread.
  • All photos must be appropriate. I know some users love looking at pics of others in their underwear, but do not post them here. This is a public site, anyone - ANYONE - can view the pictures you post here. Choose what you post accordingly.
  • No matter how hot you think you are, or how much you think everyone needs to see your pics - please do not post more than 3 pics a day. If you want to post 6 pics in one day, sure, but don`t please post any more for 2 days. This rule is to keep the thread healthy - more links, higher chance of the thread having issues. The number is higher in this thread because just one pic of a vacation or the like would be boring!
  • Please keep comments positive. If you can`t think of something nice to say, please don`t bother hitting the reply button.
  • Please do not quote photos in your reply - this helps keep the thread healthy by lowering the number of links.
  • Pictures MUST HAVE BEEN TAKEN BY YOU. Do not post photos taken by others!

Thank you, and have fun!

Haha that's amazing! I wonder if I could do it.

Haha you made me have a strong desire to pull out my drawers and crawl in xD

lol yinnie. Funny pic. :D

Here's a pic of Navajo land, where I live ;)

On the left side on top of that rock formation is a little fortress that was used against the U.S. Calvary in the mid 1800s. Still amazing that it's still standing to this day.

Pexster 08-11-2009 08:19 AM

Beautiful, but so hot. Nice pic, Thumper.

Teepee set up for a peyote ceremony.

bELyVIS 08-18-2009 12:56 PM

Peyote ceremony. I'm there! I know of a cool church near Benson, Arizona where they have the ceremony. I'm going someday, I've did it before being part Apache (not enough to get casino money though).

Here's a pic of me taken in late June.

Unfortunately, my rock climbing encountered a speed bump 2 weeks after this pic was taken as I broke both arms in a nasty fall. However, I'm on the mend and should be fully healed for the ice climbing season.

JustinATTACK 08-19-2009 12:18 AM

If that wasn't so high off the ground, that would look so amazing.
Ice climbing?
*shivers*
Stuff is insane man.
HaHa

I wish I was brave enough to do that.

caakes 08-20-2009 05:48 AM

This is a photo take near the end of July. I'm not sure what the proper term for this is .. but the amusement park (Canada's Wonderland) calls it Xtreme Sky Flyer.

That's amazing! How long have you been climbing for?

spicytuna 08-20-2009 07:54 PM

Thanks for the input guys!

I've been climbing on and off for the last 10yrs. Rock climbing is great but it just keeps me in shape for the ice climbing.

Ice climbing hasn't really taken off in Japan so one of my goals is to move to Hokkaido and pioneer some new routes/areas. One of these days, I'll quit my job, head out to Japan and become a bum for a few years. :)

That'd be soooo awesome! That's a great idea...how did you get into such a hobby?....maybe it's just where I live, but I never meet any climbers

I started off climbing indoors in a rock climbing gym but eventually moved outdoors. I was living in Toronto at the time and had to drive 2hrs to climb a short rock wall maybe 40m high.

I eventually moved to my current town where we have rock walls 400m high just 15 min away. An incredible town where everyone is incredibly fit, knows how to rock climb and enjoys the outdoors. A small town where there's no movie theater, Walmart, Home Depot but miles and miles of running and riding trails. A place where it's not uncommon to bump into a black bear, deer, moose, cougar, etc. during your early morning run.

I'll post pictures of my town when I get a chance. :ywave:
