Forum Crackdown

Right; I'm sure alot you you have noyced theres been a change on the forum recently

the derailing / random threads have been closed, and threads deemed to be totally derailed or that have no relevence to Japan are being removed.

this has come around because latly the forum has lost its original cause and alot of older, long term members have sadly left the forum as a result of this.

thos forum was created for the discussion and mutual appreciation of Japan and Japanese Culture, but in the last few weeks the Randomness thread has been the only truely active thread with members using it as a chat board rather than a forum.

from now on there will be no derail threads, if you have nothing to say then dont post; threads that derail will be closed.

if you want to simply chat there is a private message service on this forum, or simply use an instant messenger ie: MSN, AOL or Yahoo

these changes are to be inplemented immediatly; no compromise; please refer to the etiquette thread for guidelines.
