I love sushi and sashimi but can't believe the skill (or cruelty?) of this sushi chef. Is this a TV trick?

If your asking can they feel pain? Yes, anything with a nervous system can feel some sort of pain. Probably not to the intensity if a human though since there arn't as many nerves. (Note: Not a scientist)
