It's always wise to give people a second chance.. If they don't treasure it, then i guess we can safely come to the conclusion that they should be banned permanently. ^^

nah, i wasn't sucking up, in fact, i was on the receiving end of some of their insults. I would have done the same thing if i was in her shoes.

so is it 'uncool' to do what you feel is right? if it means there is a smoothly running friendly atmosphere and good banter (chat) then im all for it, plus im generally a nice guy.

ok, first. read it well. coolnard, is pretty cool about it, which makes it even more better when he explains his side. second it is uncool to suck up!

friendly is friendly, and gwen's pretty much doing her job as a mod. she'll be delighted too. but you know what sucks? is that hearing people trying to be too close to it, like "YEAH! GOOD FOR YOU! YEHEY! THAT WAS SO GOOD!"

i have to admit i hate that.

i remember in class, we use to throw chalk on that guy who just stood up to say, "I AGREE WITH OUR PROFESSOR, quizzes is for our own good." trying to suck up, and worse, polish apples for grades. that's totally gay. and they wonder why they don't have friends.

a moderator will be a moderator because they implement rules. if you keep giving them that, it's not making it friendly, it's more offending to those who are not known to gwen's circle, or new here. or the fact that they might be friend's of the banned person, or the banned one themselves.

as for me, my point here is simple. moderator's will do what they have to do.

i'll do the same. but i won't entertain a pat on a shoulder just because your smile goes towards me.

and when it goes against you, you forget all about the "wAVES TO GWEN!"

MY OWN OPINION REGARDING BAN :
i think there should be at least some preliminary ban, and if symptom's persist. consult the mods for the final ban.

and for those who try to appeal their ban, it should be reasonable enough to know what they have to say. and for those who defend them, know that sometimes your friends are not that much in a gentle state of mind. i know your point, i'll gladly stand to my own opinion, so long i know i'm right.

and for gwen, i hope you don't take my comment as an attack, but throwing off a cold shoulder, stating that you just have to throw a cold shoulder at them, it doesn't put as in a very JUST situation, would it? but hey, you're attitude is yours, i have mine. but as a mod, maybe some improvement, could suffice.
