Have you thought about shopping, sightseeing, exploring the neighbourhood?

One more sentence of detail would be so much more helpful.

How do you go to Japan without knowing what you will do?

He/she posted that THEY WERE JUST STATIONED THERE. The only instance where a person's free will is involved in this is when they sign up for basic training.

I would suggest you go to a bunch of different concerts and all that, but I don't know if you're into that kind of music, and you're in Okinawa anyway, right??? Sorry. :'(

I remember when I first went. I was so excited with so many things to do, that it really confused me in knowing what to do first.

Exercise is always good.. Put your tennis shoes on and go and play a round of squash.

Even a wa*k through the city, dinner at a Ramen shop, etc..

Just get out

Cheers - Oz
