Breast Cancer Symptoms? URGENT - 02-03-2010, 06:01 PM

Not sure if its proper to post it here, but just trying to gain first hand knowledge.

So i have a question, i don't have breast cancer, but i have a friend who thinks she might be diagnosed, but she is unwilling to go see the doctor because she said her symptoms are not quite similar to the ones she found online. however the case is she, there is a hard spot on the side of her breast (side facing armpit), she explained to me that the hard spot is linked by 2 muscles and can be moved up and down.

so if there are any girls out there that might know a bit about this or has experienced the same thing, please post a reply.
thanks in advance.
btw guys to if you know anything.

I don't know anything about breast cancer but I suggest you tell your friend to go see a doctor. It doesn't matter how small or insignificant her symptoms can look, seeing a doctor is always the better way to treat something like that.

One of my friends just recently was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is now in serious trouble because she left it for so long because "breast cancer isn`t supposed to move".

Tell your friend to go to the doctor NOW.

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.

Seconded. Sounds bad to me, get it checked out.

Fortunately, there is one woman in this world who can control me.

Unfortunately for you, she is not here.

Caught early, breast cancer can be treated with minor surgery and a few months of treatment. Caught late, it can be fatal. Treatment for advanced cases can mean extensive surgery, lots of pain, and a long bout with chemotherapy and radiation.

How long does it take? It varies, my mother caught hers when it was still fairly early, and after 8 months her treatment ended. She remains cancer free now 4 years later.

Another acquaintance was not so lucky. She avoided going to see a doctor until she was in serious pain. She passed away 4 months later, after surgery and other treatments failed to stop the cancer.

If you think there is even a 1% chance of cancer, you should making an appointment to see a doctor this minute.

I'm wondering, at what age is a woman most likely to develop breast cancer?

Nowday the breast cancer check up can be done pretty fast and available in common clinic. Even healthy women should take this routinely. so the best advise here is to go clinic and make medical check up.

Though rare, women can get breast cancer as early as in their 30's. Mammograms should start at age 40 or before.

Despite the latest controversy that yearly mammograms may be a waist, majority of experts say the once a year every year at the above stated age.

Panel Suggests Delaying Regular Mammograms Until Age 50 - TIME
