When someone comes up with such irrational explanations for the basic laws of physics, they belong in the same mental institution as a certain religious fanatic that blames it on his concept of sin.

Humans have no impact on the motion of the Earth's molten core that generates forces that cause the tectonic plates to shift. Even a fifth grader who passed their "earth sciences" class should be able to grasp that concept.

In the midst of a natural disaster and catastrophe in Chile, the metals and mining industry is likely to see positive price supports in the near future.

"One major factor that drives the price of metals is the efficiency and speed of extraction of the metal in the production and mining process. According to analysts, this process is likely to be hindered. The good news is that most of Chile’s copper deposits and port facilities are in the northern half of the nation and had no major reports of damage. However, despite locality, numerous copper mines, responsible for more that 15% of Chile’s copper output halted operations as a result of the quake. ..."

The US would get some benefits out of it. But oil and copper for the economy's sake? They can do better.

wow, thanks for the lesson i acept my errors lol

but You see you know the oil drills and such
That sucks up all the oil on earth
Well oil is like a liquid to keep the plates sliding and steady
When you take away the cushion
Its unstable
So then maybe due to that it can cause earthquakes

Uhh...while that hasn't been scientifically proven or disproved, usually earthquakes occur in areas where hard, rocky slabs slide against each other to release tremendous amounts of energy. Oil zones tend to come from murky mushy rock and when this section of land slides it releases very low amounts of energy.
