What are the Japan Forum ranks?

I'm curious as to what the ranks (and post counts needed to achieve them) are on JF.

For example at the time of writing this, I'm a 'JF Regular' which needed 30 posts to achieve.

So what are the ranks after this and post counts needed for them?

If it's too long a list, then just write a few of the ranks after 'JF Regular' and then maybe the next person can continue the list. :D

Actually, you can make up your own after a certain amount.... I noticed it after I hit 100, but it may have been available before that.... It's just a number and a rank.... really it means nothing.... I've been to other boards a long time ago where people took it too seriously and posted garbage just to get their count up.... it's not a competition and having a high post count doesn't make you any more important than an occasional poster....imo

Yeah I noticed some people had custom ones :)

I know that it means nothing, and I really don't plan on any of that childish 'I can get the higher rank' stuff, it annoys me too.
I'm just curious because for some reason I have a little fascination with forum ranks and I always like to see what the next one may be, as well as seeing others' ranks. :D

Mmmh after so many posts you're allowed to have your own custom avatar and a title under your user name. And I'm not sure about the signature, I don't remember if a certain amount of posts are needed in order to have one. And I think that's about it, no ranks.

There are 4 ranks in JF:
New to JF,
JF Regular,
JF Old Timer,
Busier Than Shinjuku Station.

Don't understand why people should care about nonsense like that...

Woah I didn't think there were only 4!

And like I said I don't care about it in the sense that I want to beat others' ranks, I just find them interesting, I don't know why. :)

And that means what, you post like there's no tomorrow?

You can put in a signature from Day 1. I wish you couldn't, though. We get lots of sig spammers.

Oh, I just found out that you can have your own custom rank... well... after 30 posts!
I can change mine now :D

You make the conclusion. I'm not the one who created these ranks.

I wanted to address Shinjuku with that problem the next time he shows up, but it seems he doesn't want to show up at all. I don't think it's hard to add a sig restriction along with others when somebody joins.
