Maybe it works different there but uh here most companies require way more then just a straight on photo. They want a whole entire portfolio of you with pictures taken by different real professional photographers.
Yeah I know, I was talking about fashion models. Catwalk type stuff. The stuff you seem to be describing is casual modelling or commercial modelling. For commercial modelling especially, they want someone who sort of looks generically pretty. This could go to anyone nice looking, height is not really an issue because for commercials they want 'ordinary people' so people watching it can relate to them.

Since Kikibunny was referring to cosplay modelling the criteria is bound to be very different than for any type of fashion or advertising modelling. The height requirement could conceivably be that she not be too tall or too skinny for a part they want her to fill.

Kikibunny, my advice is to believe you can do it, exude confidence - but not arrogance, don't give in to any attempts made by the other prospective models to psych you out. And most importantly pay very close attention to whatever the people making the decision say. What may seem like a minor point could later be the decision factor when it comes to the actual person chosen.

I think Christina and Claire both look better with their natural hair than as blondes.
