Incredible... I still can't believe what I'm seeing. Over scale Richter earthquake, tsunamis almost all around, I just hope the number of victims will be very low. I can't help from here, I feel so powerless.

I wonder if the moon had some effect, because it's on perigee, and on 19 March it will be at the closest point to Earth since 1992, with about 40k km closer.

Reverse psychology, "dear Watson", reverse psychology.
"Manganese? Is that manga language?" - lol?

The areas worst affected haven't been reached yet, considering how strongly it was felt in Tokyo its hard to imagine what it was like near the epicenter.

The tsunamis began to hit within 20 minutes of the quake, not likely giving people much time to get dressed, let alone get to high ground. Video showed a ship being tossed around with the crew trying to hold onto the rails. Huge whirlpools were created, sinking many boats.

It's going to take a long time to figure out the extent of the damage, and the cleanup is going to take a long time,

The moon has no effect on earthquakes.

Absolutely no damage. About 3 minutes of extended slow shaking, followed by two lesser aftershocks that reached the area.

Also no tsunami damage - less than a meter, meaning that it didn`t even rise above normal high tide levels.

You have nothing to worry about for those in the Nagoya area.

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.
