The US won't do much more than send drones, no real vested interest in Lybia.

I worry when I see the terrible injuries on innocent children and families. For goodness sake why did Nato get involved when all it has done is make things much worse for Libyans.

All we see on TV is shootings and injuries. It is madness.

there have been wars since the beginning of time--now we kill more people at a time.

What really are they all about?

Land? Oil, Is it just a way to keep the growing population down? That along with plagues has been the way in the past.

Greed. Big Business. We never seem to learn and we interfere way too much.

Empire makers.

I hardly think NATO is into creating an empire in North Africa! What should the international community be doing dogsbody in your opinion? They didn't create the current situation in Libya. They only responded after Gaddafi starting using his armed forces to quell the protests (read kill the protestors). And they are currently only attempting to limit the damage that Gaddafi can reap with his armed forces on his own people. If NATO did nothing there would be wholesale slaughter and arrests of the populace. At least now the opponents of Gaddafi have a bit more of a chance to defend themselves (only a bit).

Well I am pretty ignorant about these things-- but are we supposed to save the rest of the world?

I just hate to see these constant broadcasts of killing--so many arab countries seem to be in trouble.

How can we solve the problems of the world when we can hardly keep going in UK as it is?

How has the bombing solved anything in Libya? Gadaffi is still killing his own people-- yet hasn't he been supported for over forty years.

Places like Zimbabwe where horrific atrocities have gone on for years--

i wonder if access to the internet has helped people get together and decide to protest----------

Can we solve the problems of Libya? If we are not prepared to go in on the ground?

Too many countries are having revolutions-- are we supposed to interfere with them all?

UK is in dire financial trouble already-- How can we protect the people in these countries? surely the West interferes too much already.

I admit I am ignorant about many of these things-- but so tired of constantly having news that shows constant fighting and killing.

Surely these countries need to sort out their own problems.

When I mentioned Empire-- I was referring to the past Empire building.

I don't want to argue about all this because I do not know enough but I am soo so tired of all this killing that is going on.

everything seemed to change after 9/11 going into afghanistan and Iraq-- it never seems to stop.
