Two huge masses of rock, called tectonic plates, colliding, that causes a quake... I though you people learned that in schools.

Reverse psychology, "dear Watson", reverse psychology.
"Manganese? Is that manga language?" - lol?

First one that big. I keep watching TV programmes telling me how earthquakes happen! It's ridiculous!

It was sarcasm. I've lived in Japan and I experienced frequent quakes during my stay. Point of my post is.. according to many friends I have there, Japan is pretty much back to normal now and Sendai etc is quickly on the road to recovery. Theres no need for 100 new threads about it every day. Can we move on now please?

I wouldn't quite go so far as to say back to normal...
But yeah it's under control.

For example I (still) have to buy orange juice for my work, because I offer it to my customers. But at the 3 major grocery stores in downtown Sannomiya (Heart of Kobe city, an import haven) the shelves were out of stock of almost any kind of bottled beverage.

Found that pic!

At Daiei next to JR Sannomiya March 26th
