iPhone, Macbook, Panasonic Lumix GF1 :) - 04-03-2011, 01:33 AM

Hi everyone! I may have said this countless times but I'll be going to Japan on the 13th and am concerned about the 100 volts thing. I basically have these 3 things I will be needing to charge on my entire stay and most if not all say 110 volts to 250 volts.. anyone who has the same things and who can shed a light on whether I may be able to charge them at all? I will be staying in Akasaka Roppongi if that's any important.

And by the way, how do you say Roppongi? is it ropongi or ropong-GI?

Pretty much any standard stuff is fine; laptop charger, phone charger, etc.
Since you're dealing with a Macbook, the normal charger (the one that "pops," will be fine, but you can't use the thick extender cable (polarized). iPhone is fine too, if you're really concerned you can just charge it from your Macbook.

The only major thing you need to look out for is if your plugs are polarized (have the round third prong in the middle). Japanese outlets don't have those. You can always lop the prong off, but if that's too ghetto you can just buy an adaptor if you need it.

I'm not a cynic; I just like to play Devil's Advocate once in a while.
