dominique strauss-kahn arrested

your thoughts? the chief of international monetary fund was arrested for an attempted rape of an helpless innocent woman.

unethical.
brutal.
irresponsible animal.

that kind of thing happens all the time, everywhere, and is usually ignored or never even spoken about to be ignored in the first place

the man's position changes nothing, though I hope he is punished more than he deserves as to strike a little fear in the hollow hearts of those who would do as he has done

Is it actually true? Is there proof? Not a way to get him off the IMF conference? I would not dismiss skulduggery

According to American authorities there was enough proof to pull him off a plane headed for France and land him in jail with no parole.

And why did he rush to the airport right after this incident, leaving behind personal items in his hotel room like his cell phone?

That's what I found hilarious about the incident. Acted just like a little kid who got caught and thought running away would save him. From what I had heard this isn't the first time he's done something untoward. Ends up making not only him look bad but the IMF as well. And with the IMF having to bail out entire countries from the economic depression that can't be very helpful.

I'm french and you cannot imagine how it's hard nowadays...

This man was supposed to kick out our current President next year, he was (is ?) brilliant and could not help behaving like an animal, what a pity. I loved this guy, his heart was socialist and his mind Keynesian, why in the blue hell hasn't he kept his instincts at home !? I'm so disappointed...the dwarf who leads my country will have a 4th son in October and shall also be reelected in 2012

Anyway, there is no doubt DSK is guilty as charged. In case you did not know that French people are mostly morons, I inform you that 57% of them are convinced he is a victim of a conspiracy

Geez...

Geez...

the most brilliant men in history have had proportionally similar character flaws, if not the same flaw

Let the man go already! This happens now almost every month lately..

just because they are famous and rich you can't accuse them on having raped you. They could have thousands of women..

Also how the Americans handled this situation is embarrassing!

Ronin4hire 05-19-2011 03:22 PM

The possibility that he's been the target of a conspiracy is not as stupid as you might think.

Just think Julian Assange.

BobbyCooper 05-19-2011 03:54 PM

Definitely! I mean the man was just about to become the President of France.

Now right before he wins the selection he is going to rape somebody? He was far ahead on all the votes.

you must be kidding me.
