Would have been too off-topic in the 'what other languages do you speak' thread.
Thinking about languages lead to the cultures they're linked to, which in turn leads to the people living in that culture.

Same prank - once done in Japan - once done in Brazil. Prankster just screams at people when they don't expect it, the 'victims' reactions are very different, though. Perfectly feeding the cliche about demure Japanese and short-tempered Latin Americans...
