Learning Japanese

Hello. I'm new to the teaching business, but I really want to spread and help as many people as possible! ^-^ Please, if you have the spare time, could you watch this and tell me what's good/bad? Learning Japanese and English With Kaori and Daniel: Video 01 - YouTube

I know the audio is terrible, the video quality is terrible, I was shy so I stammered; but it's really a test.
I'm working on improving in all fields. I have to improve in all fields. Please give me your support. Thank you!

This is a horrible question to ask someone that is already teaching, but have you heard of "pitch accents" at all? You are pronouncing more than half the words with the wrong pitch accents. To be more specific, you seem to almost automatically place the pitch accents on the first syllables of words, which does not work for many words.

The black wording is barely visible in most occasions. You may want to change the color to white or something that really contrasts with the foreground in your video.

Thanks so much! these are the kinds of responses I want. :) I really appreciate the help. I'll keep in mind the pitch accent and the color problem.
I'll also do something about the overall quality of the videos.
If anyone else has a reply, I'd love to hear it!

You seem to be open to some harsh truth. I won't be too hard on ya ;) Especially because I appreciate the effort and what you're doing.

For a first time effort, it was not bad. Definitely work on the tips already given, and as you go on, I am sure your nervousness will be gone in time.

That said, production wise, it was completely jarring. First of all, you seem to be filming from a phone, yes? That is fine, but you have to absolutely shoot in landscape mode. If you need to show more of your body and such, just move back.

Secondly, again, because of the nerves, you move in and out a lot. It is very distracting. Especially when teaching. You should be more stern and assertive when teaching, imo.

Other than that, looking good. And looking forward to seeing more :)

Edit* Also, where is Kaori? :p

Thanks a lot! I appreciate it. ^-^ Yeah, I was recording from an ipod touch 4g. Not the best idea... For audio qualitu, would it be better to go back over it and dub the audio in future videos? Maybe I should just purchase a nicer camera?
Yeah! XD I noticed that afterwards. I couldn't stop moving, and I said "ahh" too much. ^^; I'll work on these in future videos! Thank you for the help. I appreciate it so much!
And Kaori is in Japan. :p We are working on podcasts together, and she'll be making her own videos soon. :)

Hello everyone. ^-^ we made the first podcast, and I was wondering if we could get some more criticism. ^^ I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm still a little nervous, but I think I'm slowly getting over it. I hate how I said the "crack" part. >< Sounds so annoying.
Please let me know how to make them better.
