do you believe westerners come to japan to flex their racial superiority over the locals...

I know so many westerners who go to japan...yet think the japanese inferior beings...they want the lifestyle that japan offers yet despise living next to that they deem as an inferior race

Before bashing this guy... I think that what he says is actually rooted in some truth.
Maybe I see it more being married to a Japanese man, but there is an incredible amount of racism and just general superiority talk directed in the direction of Japanese men by foreigners. Seriously, it really DOES feel as if some of these people came to Japan to take advantage of the place, have their fun, and look down on the locals. (Especially the men, as that gives them all the more justification to think they are a gift to the poor women of Japan. )
