Fast food - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Although fast-food restaurants are often viewed as a representation of a day by day family outing, the concept of "ready-cooked food to go" is as old as cities themselves; unique variations are historical in various cultures. Ancient Roman cities had bread-and-olive stands, East Asian cultures feature noodle shops. Flat bread and falafel are ubiquitous in the Middle East. Popular Indian "fast" food delicacies include Vada pav, Papri Chaat, Bhelpuri, Panipuri and Dahi Vada. In the French-speaking nations of West Africa, meanwhile, roadside stands in and around the larger cities continue to sell- as they have done for generations- a range of ready-to-eat, chargrilled meat sticks known locally as "brochettes" (not to be confused with the bread snack of the same name found in Europe). Typical interior of an Automat. This one was built in New York in 1930, at the height of their popularity. The modern history of fast-food in America began on July 7, 1912 with the opening of a fast food restaurant called the Automat in New York. Fast food is older than USA and I'd also like you to read the very top 'This article or section deals primarily with the United States and does not represent a worldwide view of the subject' Not a bias article at all Junk food. Junk food - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia "What is junk food? What constitutes unhealthy food may be confusing and, according to critics, includes elements of class snobbery and moral judgement. For example, fast food such as hamburgers, and French fries supplied by companies such as McDonald's, KFC and Pizza Hut are often perceived as junk food, whereas the same meals supplied by more up-market outlets such as Pizza Express or Nando's are not, despite often having the same or worse nutritional content.[1] Other foods such as Foie Gras, roast potatoes and bread are not considered junk food despite having limited nutritional content. Similarly, Breakfast cereals are often regarded as healthy but may have high levels of sugar, salt and fat.[2]" If you look at all the food listed there, America made them all.

McDonalds and Crisps (Chips as you say) is a product of USA, doesn't matter if everyone has it, it's still from America. Anyway, funnily enough I had pop-corn chicken yesterday, me and my mate had to go out and get food since non of us can cook and all the chippys were closed. Either Micro food, McDonalds or KFC. =___=
