music is basically my life yeah,it's pretty sweet because i work in a record store too so i'm surrounded by it all the time.i do really like college because i'm doing something i love doing,i never liked school much i always felt kinda held back by having to be there.

When you're doing work that you love it doesn't feel like work at all! That's the same with me and baking haha, but I also love learning about different cultures and I'm really good at learning languages, so that's why I hope I love going to school next year like you do.

east asian studies sounds interesting,what exactly do you learn about?

all about china, korea, and japan. It's an interdisciplinary program, so I draw elements from all different departments like geography, economics, history, art, etc. that all has to do with either of the 3 countries. You get to learn a language of your choice (I chose Japanese) and on your 3rd year if your grades are high enough you get to go on a 1 year exchange to a university in whatever country of the language you take. I can't wait

I'm in a very similar program at my University. I just got back from studying abroad at Nanzan University in Nagoya for a year

wow! that sounds great! i've always wanted to go to japan,but i can't really afford it right now then again,you live in canada and i've always wanted to go there too!
