so has anybody here eaten mochi? wat's it made of

I have! I've even made some myself, but using rice flour. mochi is made of glutinous rice that is pounded into a paste and then molded into a ball shape. i think mochi is used to make daifuku, which is basically mochi stuffed with sweetened red bean paste. It's really sticky, but good.

and i remember that monster rancher cartoon! mochi was fun to watch cuz she would should giant pink beams at things,-->tht eyeball person scared me a little ^-^

There's this one shop in Kyoto that has free samples of their mochi and free ocha! Needless to say I made multiple stops through that store on my temple sightseeing journey

I went to the AsIa FoOdS sToRe in downtown cleveland and i bought red bean paste mochi and ichigo daifuku---They Taste GREAT [[although i like the red bean paste one better]]
