2 Questions regarding to my name

ok I have 2 weird questions regarding to my name and it's relation to Japanese..

So the first one is how do Japanese people pronounce the name Roy?
I've read that they say it like "ro-i", but that sounds completely different from my name, can't they pronounce it like Americans do ?

Also, native Japanese people only question (not people who learn Japanese only those who came from Japan/still live in Japan) what do you think of my name Roy as a foreigner name ?
Does it sounds weird, nice, cool, authentic etc .. ? How would YOU describe it and what do you think most Japanese people would think of this name ?
just wondering.. :)

Japanese can call you as "ROI" or "LOI". If you mean long vowel by "-" in "ro-i", I do not agree with the pronunciation.

>what do you think of my name Roy as a foreigner name ?

I think "Roy" is nice and easy to remember for most of Japanese people.

Ok thanks :P
but beside the name being easy to remember, as a foreigner name does it sound weird to you ?
What I mean by it is that for people who're not familiar with the name it may sound a really weird name for someone, do you think Japanese will see it as a weird name ?

No, not at all.

>do you think Japanese will see it as a weird name ?

No, not at all.

Why are you so nervous about your name?

So how to put it..
Some men are attracted to blondes, some to Europeans, some to tall women AND I'm attracted the most to Japanese women, that's how I am.. (I think they're the most beautiful in my opinion  )
So anyway this might sound weird and not something someone will post on such forum but I would like to date Japanese women in the future and I was wondering how is my name being looked at from Japanese people perspective because name although not the most important thing in love matters it can create first impression, if you ask me as human beings we associate names to things, have you ever heard a name that made you think a little bit "dirty" because it sounds sexy or something like this ? Hopefully I didn't make my self to look like a complete weirdo on the internet ._.

In the International context, the name has no negative effect.

To get Japanese girl, Japanese language skill is the most important factor because only 5% of young girls speaks English (by my personal expectation).

And perhaps 50% of young girls (also by my personal expectation) want to learn English and hesitate. The difference between 50% and 5% would be the key to get them.

That's on my to do list. Hopefully it won't be that hard :)
