intentions and whatnot: I'm seriously considering moving to Tokyo after following cultural currents there and want to see what other ex-pats think of the Metropolis.

why do you want to go to japan: I feel I'm a child of Japanese culture in the West having been priveledged enough to witness the great Nintendo, 80's Manga Films, Bandai, Tomy, Sega, Samurai movies, Dogtanian, Thundercats, Cities of Gold, Battle of the Planets, Star Fleet, Hayao Miyazaki Mario and Zelda and a lot of other stuff besides that I have forgotten to mention here. Since my one and only previous visit in 2003, when I stayed in Tokyo for 3 days on a stop-over to Sydney, I have had a renaisance of sorts, and have obtained copies of all my old favourite stuff - and now I want more!
