I'm a girl who lives in a small religous mountain town. I don't really know anyone here who likes the things I like. So I am trying to find people who live near me. I love to draw anime. Actually...that's all I draw. =^^= I just love pretty much anything that has to do with Japan. -hehe-

I want to learn Japanese, but I don't have a computer at home, so I can't buy any computer programs. I am on the look out for some books that can help me learn. If anyone has any that they would like to part with please let me know. Thank you!!

Intentions: I want to get involved with Japanese stuff more. I intend to learn Japanese and hopefully kanji as well, in which case the Japanese boards will become very helpful, and all of the other forums here will be fun in the mean time. I might even find other otaku hanging around.
Why do you want to go to Japan?: I've always liked Japan more then anywhere else, never gotten the chance to go there(yet) but I intend to as soon as I can. The more and more I get involved with the culture and sub cultures the more it feels like home...america just doesn't cut it anymore.
