hi everyone! My name is Ashley, and I'm from Arizona (U.S.). I'm attending Northern Arizona University (2nd year) and I'm studying to be either a volcanologist or paleontologist; I'm not quite sure yet
 I'd have to say I'm a novice when it comes to j-rock, since I only have albums from L'arc~en~ciel, Miyavi, and Dir en Grey. Picked up a magazine at Hot Topic called purpleSix, and I figured I'll check out some of the bands they interview ^__^ Hope everyone is well!! Hello everybody!
My name is John I am 20 years old and a college student in Texas. I joined JF so that I could talk to people that are obsessed with Japan!! And I also wish to speak to native Japanese speakers to improve my Japanese language skills, and also to lend a hand to those needing help with English. I didn't know there was a thread for introductions! I'm sorry!
My name is mike, I'm (like a few of you) a college student. I'm always interested in making new friends. I love the japanese culture, I think it's an amazing thing. I work at a ramen shop. My manager there speaks only japanese so I get to have conversations in japanese. It's definitely improved my japanese. If you ever see me online or on aim (ichikumo) feel free to say hi.
