intentions and whatnot: Well, I found this from something that my good friend Kori-chan posted and decided to come and see it! I love meeting new people, especially those interested in Japan and anime. It's always nice to talk about it and such. ^-^
why do you want to go to japan: Well, first of all, I did become introduced to Japan through anime. So that is one good thing about the country. But also, I find the culture very interesting and I think it would be wonderful to go an visit. It is a beautiful place and all in all I believe that it would be more than worthwhile.

I'm from the UK but I've lived a load of places including my birthplace South Africa, and also others like Hong Kong and Cyprus.

I've been described as a Hyper Japanese HighSchool Girl...
Which is a GREAT achievement since i'm not even Japanese. I've loved Japan as a country for so long... since I was a kid... and then I got into the real love of modern japan with *coff*ANCAFE*coff*SUSHI*coff*OURAN*coff*HARAJUKU*coff* etc...

As most of your are familiar with that, then I'll shut up about that or else you'll just have a subtitle of:

I've been having a Japanese class for a year and I'm into my second year now... Before that I tried self teaching but I didn't have the self discipline to do thaaaat.

Intentions and whatnot: Well basicly I just just want to meet some people with similar interests, and hopefully make some new friends along the way. That and DA bumped me here and it looked kinda interesting

Why [did] you want to go to Japan: Well I was alway a bit interested in japan all through high school. Studied the language for a bit and just enjoied the culture. However then during Uni I got the opertunity to go over there for a working holiday. Was great. Had a ball but could only stay for 12 months. Now I'm back in Oz and plan to head back there in another 6 months or so *fingers crossed anyway*

Well that about it about me at the moment. If ya wanna know anything just ask. I aint shy . . . well most of the time anyway

Why do you want to go to Japan: I want to go to Japan, to try out new things. I have tried a few japanese foods, but I want to try more and I would love to buy a sweet lolita dress <3. I also want to just go somewhere out of UK and Europe n.n.

and i know how it feels to be stuck in one country for almost seemingly forever. everyone wants t go somewhere else. but theres always someone who wonders why anyone would want to come to their country. hahaha

Intentions: My first intention is that I wanted to meet the two japanese foreign exchange students I met when I was little, I want to thank them alot. I know it sounds silly, but I thank them for visiting me in the hospital when I was sickly. They cheered up me up alot. Then I also want to meet my japanese penpal I made in the sixth grade. She was very nice and I miss writing to her. (TT.TT) Yep, then I also wanted to go to japan after seeing and hearing so much about it. Hopefully, I can study abroad in Japan for alittle bit. Despite me enjoying the japanese music scene, I really want to go there for other reasons. I'm just interested in their culture,history and way of life. I sound like a total dork (^^')
Then it would be nice to make friends too. So by joining here, I hope to make a japanese friend. Well actually, any friend would be nice as along we have the same interests. Yes, I love anime as well <3 As along I have some pocky and good manga book we're all set. (^.~) J/k. *hugs* I'm done. Ja ne!
