Introduce Yourself!

As a newbie, I kinda decided that I should introduce myself and do some research befopre I ask some pointless questions.

My name is Tony, I am 27 years old and I am currently living in Bangkok, Thailand. I've had enough here and I am returning to the UK very soon. I am planning to see more of Japan next year (Tokyo, Okinawa and Osaka is my next trip idea I am working out). I've been to Tokyo before, but as now I've seen enough of Thailand, It's time to see somewhere else.

I hope to ask good quality questions and contribute tto this forum with a honest unbiaesd view and maybe meet some people along the way.

Well, why I am here?
I felt in love with Japan the moment I got interested in it when I was 8 years old. Then I watched a lot of Anime, read Manga, etc...
In 2006 my interests got bigger and bigger and I decided to learn more about the language and culture.
Now I'm studying Japanese by myself and after school I am going to study Japanese at Uni. In my future I would really like to live and work in Japan, so I am doing really hard, you know. But I have so much fun.

Last summer vacation I went to Japan for three weeks. I visited friends in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto and I can tell you, it was my best holiday ever!
Now I am even more addicted to Japan.

Whatelse? I also like japanese cooking, drama series and the music, of course.
My favorite singer is Miyavi [btw I have been to his concert in Kyoto on my Japan trip,too. It was amazing!].

So, I found this place in dA's forum introduction.
Though I'm Japanese, but I'd LOVE to 'touch' and 'feel' English more, so, I registered here.
Well...heh, to me, this place is so funny because almost of you memberes cleary know about Japan than me myself...*burst out laughing*
Always, I feel strange when people not Japanese talk about Japan (especially anime, game, manga ).
At dA, well, many Japanimation and Japan manga fans create fanfiction thingy in there...so, it's fun to see their creations.
Well, and I'm always surprised noticing culture differences between Japan and the othter countries. Especially...oh, I sometimes watch photographes about Japanese food especially sushi, but heh, they are often in strange shape from my knowledge...*laughs*
Hahah, and to be honest, I don't likesushi so much...sumeshi(vinegered rice) is my weakpoint...
