Intentions and whatnot: To reply to threads at this place and try to get an idea of what Japan must be like. Also to learn where to go to when I do go over there.

Why do you want to go to Japan: While posting in another 'What Are You Listening To?" thread at DV, I stumbled upon Morning Musume and began posting their music in that thread , then I started google-ing Japan and thought it was cool. Now I want to go to Japan and see what it's like. It seems very weird and neat but I'm sure it's only certain areas that are like that.

Favourite Manga/Anime: The only thing I ever watched was Akira , and that is a very old umm , movie...

I like foreign movies though.

Intentions and whatnot: The forum I usually go to is down for some reason so I was bored...And I wanted to know some things about Japan so I Googled 'japan' and 'forum' and came here.

As you can guess from my name, I don't have Dutch parents. My parents came from Hongkong, but I'm born in the Netherlands. Dunno if I want to go to Hongkong some day. Maybe, or maybe not. We''ll see. I speak fluently Dutch, a little bit Cantonese, and a little bit English. I like to play Sims (even though my pc can't play it now for some reason -_- ), gaming, designing houses (for my Simmies XD), and reading manga. I started liking the (traditional) Japanese culture when I came in contact with it while watching anime and reading manga. I started to get interested in it and looked some things up about Japan and the traditional culture. And yes, I know there is not only anime and manga in Japan xD What I like the most about the traditional Japanese culture are the architecture and clothing.

Why do you want to go to Japan: To see what it is like and to visit some old traditional temples/houses. And I love sushi, and where can you get better sushi then in Japan? Dunno if I want to life there though, but I'm definitely going there atleast once.

I'm really wondering if somebody read everything I wrote xD
