I eat NATTO everyday not for the health but just because I like it.

They should stir Natto much more. 20 times at least.

For what purpose do you need it? I can recommend Lactis(https://bio-japan.net/index.php?rout...product_id=170). This probiotic cleans and redusec irritation in the stomach and intestines, improves the skin condition, increases immunity and overall biological metabolism. Lactis is from Japan and it is very popular not only in its original country, but all over the world.

Different from NATTO, MISO soup is accepted widely by foreign people.

MISO is also made from soy beans fermented by other bacteria (KOUJI) than NATTO.

This is "instant" MISO soup which you can take it by just pouring hot water. When I brought these kind of MISO soup to USA and Germany, people there liked it very much.

Different from western list of probiotic foods, Japanese list of probiotic foods often includes "NUKA-DUKE".

NUKA-DUKE means "soaked in NUKA". NUKA-DUKE is often translated as "Japanese pickles". Pickles soaked in salt or vineger may be called as picles but NUKA-DUKE is different from such simple pickles.

NUKA-DOKO is the base or bed (DOKO/TOKO means "bed") to make the NUKA-DUKE. There are huge amount of bacteria in NUKA-DOKO and it need fine maintenunse to keep the bacteria alive and well. Once the skill to keep NUKA-DOKO is must item for every house wives. These days, it is very rare to find the house wives who can keep NUKA-DOKO. I have no NUKA-DOKO in my house.

Then what is NUKA(rice bran)?

How it works

How Japanese use it?

How to make NUKA-DOKO from 1.5kg of NUKA, 1.2 litter of water and 150g of salt.

When soaked in NUKA-DOKO, tofu can make very good TSUKE-MONO (Soaked stuff).

Instead of rice bran, you can make PAN-DOKO(bread bed) with 350g of bread, 145ml of beer, 25g of salt and vegetables.

You need to wash the ware with boiled water to kill germs/bacteria.

PAN-DOKO needs three days to make TSUKE-MONO while NUKA-DOKO makes TSUKE-MONO within TWO days.
