Thats cool I still remember when I was playing Mario Bros 3 On the Nintendo with a friends faulty adapter. I was on the very last level, (without using those magic whistles btw) and my uncle comes into the room and kicks the adapter, hence cutting power to the console.

Ugh!

Also, they use Eggman as his real name now !

Yeah, they only refer to him as Eggman, but deep down, we still know he's Dr. Robotnik. Why else does he turn things into robots and not eggs? LOL

And that sucks about the power adapter. Our top-loader is out of commission now, so I can only play NES stuff off the Wii. Mostly just waiting to get a new (used) one. I can't believe how easily so many NES's broke. *sigh*

It's so true. Is there any system where having the light gun is really worth it? I don't mean, like 1 awesome game. Is there a system that has more than just a couple games that actually use the light gun? I think we have every gun out there, but my hubby never ever plays with them, so I have no idea.

I think you can play games like Time Crisis on the Play Station and those are pretty cool Though i'm not a big fan of that actual gun itself.

I'm not a huge fan of Sony though. (though we own both PS1 and PS2 and will purchase 3 sometime in the future) I know we have a several gun games for each system, but not more than 2 or 3. I don't know if we have Time Crisis or not. I've never checked. Will check it out though.

OMG speaking of games (sorry to go off topic I didn't see a new game release thread.)
But the new Resident Evil 5 looks pretty good! The 4th one was hilarious too.
But I'm not too riled about Halo 3,don't get me wrong the 1st 2 were awesome. And I'm still waiting for a new Dynasty Warriors I don't think they've made anymore

You know I haven't played a game in ages. I still have almost all the Final Fantasy games yet to complete! Just don't have the time so I only play stuff like Counter Strike or Broodwar (online) nowadays. Though, I can't wait for Starcraft 2
