Self Esteem

I've always had self esteem problems, as people can tell by my self-proclaimed uglyness =P. But on the net, i feel like I'm not limited by my physical appearence, which is why I'm so open. I've never had a girlfriend partially because of this flaw, for two reasons. One, i don't have enough confidence to ask out the girl I like and two, it doesn't take a genious to know that low self-esteem isn't attractive, but I always feel like i'm being cocky whenever i pat myself on the back. Like if i say i'm ugly, even if its not true, I'm simply going below what i am. If I say I'm attractive, and I'm not, well...Then I'm just an ugly lier, get it? Does anyone else feel this way?

I've got... average levels of self-esteem I guess?
I always see my flaws far more than I see my pro's, I don't like my physical appearance (albeit I wouldn't change it), or some aspects of my personality.
But I still think I could accomplish anything I set my mind to (If I get over my habbit of procrastinating XD), and think that there's got to be SOMEONE out there who thinks that I'm better than I think I am, so it's all good for me I guess?

But I can relate to the internet open-ness side of your post, I'm like that too. Kind of annoying, but hey, such is life ^_^

I have terrible self esteem, but I've managed to turn it around, so that I still come off as a spineless nerd, but I really don't care about people making fun of me because I make fun of myself.



I'm ugly, and my signature shows part of my self-bashing.

Lol your not ugly...>_> Course, i'm a guy...xD Though I think I may have a crush on a guy in my math class (TOTALLY unwanted attraction >_<) I still consider myself striaght xD.

Although I think the "I'm Ugly T_T" thoughts tend to come with having low self-esteem >_<

You guys are just fine. Dont worry so much about physical appearance and worry more about who you are. You all seem like good folks so dont let the little things effect your self esteem.
