I've seen both of those movies. He isn't bad.. I just wouldn't call him a great "actor". He's good with his martial arts and whatnot but his acting is just all the same to me.

lol i'm surprised noone has mentioned Harrison Ford. I guess most of his stuff is way before some peoples time (yes even star wars)

I haven't called him a great actor. The best part about him ain't his acting, he wouldn't be able to replace... let's say Tom Hanks (xD) in... let's say Cast Away (<--- by the way, awsome movie. I don't think I' ever cried like that in a cinema before...), so could you possibly imagine Van Damme playing that role in that film? lol No. And why not? Cause he's only good in action movies.
